SUBJECT: | Revisions to 2017-2018 Title III, Part A, Immigrant Children and Youth Allocations under Provisions of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA) |
This communication is to inform you of revisions to the 2017-2018 Title III, Part A, Immigrant Children and Youth (IY) allocations that were released through Superintendent's Memorandum Number 248-17, dated August 25, 2017.
The 2017-2018 IY allocations were revised in accordance with the procedures provided in Superintendent's Memorandum Number 179-17, dated June 23, 2017. Awards were adjusted to reflect current year enrollment data after the fall student enrollment data as reported through the Student Record Collection was finalized.
Attachment A contains the revised 2017-2018 IY allocations. An amendment to the 2017-2018 Title III application and a budget transfer must be submitted through the OMEGA system. If you need technical support with this process, please email OMEGA.Support@doe.virginia.gov or call (804) 371-0993.
