A motion passed with seven yes votes and one opposed to accept the Standards of Learning cut scores as follows (including the votes that determined individual scores):
Grade 3 English: Reading, Literature and Research:
A motion carried unanimously to set the Grade Three English cut score Pass/Proficient at 32 (71%). A motion carried unanimously to set the Grade Three English cut score Advanced at 42 (93%).
Grade 3 Mathematics:
A motion carried unanimously to set the Grade Three Math cut score Pass/Proficient at 36 (72%). A motion carried unanimously to set the Grade Three Math cut score Advanced at 45 (90%).
Grade 3 Science:
A motion passed with five yes votes, one opposed, and one abstention, to set the Grade Three Science cut score Pass/Proficient at 27 (68%). A motion carried unanimously to set the Grade Three Science cut score Advanced at 36 (90%).
Grade 3 History and Social Science:
A motion passed with seven yes votes and one opposed to set the Grade Three History and Social Science cut score Pass/Proficient at 24 (60%). A motion carried unanimously to set the Grade Three History and Social Science cut score Advanced at 36 (90%).
Grade 5 English: Reading, Literature and Research:
