The Board of Education approves the proposal to establish the Governor's Career and Technical Academy: Fostering Innovation and Relevance through STEM and Trades (FIRST), a partnership among The Pruden Center, Isle of Wight County Public Schools, Suffolk City Public Schools, Tidewater Community College, government agencies, and business and industry.
