The K-12 English Language Arts SOL Institutes utilized a train-the-trainer model to provide professional development at six sites throughout commonwealth. This training focused on nonfiction and fiction reading, writing, instructional strategies for English Language Learners and Students with Disabilities. Participants attended four different concurrent breakout sessions with either an elementary or secondary focus.
