*All data collection is completed online through the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) – Virginia Center for School and Campus Safety
**The term “safety audit” includes all five aspects of the Virginia School Safety Audit Program as administered by the Virginia Center for School and Campus Safety within the DCJS:
- Virginia School Safety Survey (completed annually)
- The Division Level Survey (completed annually)
- Virginia School Crisis Management Plan Review and Certification\verification (completed annually).
- Virginia School Survey of Climate and Working Conditions (administered in the spring of the year).
- The School Safety Inspection Checklist Certification/Verification (due August 2014, then every three years thereafter)
