Comprehensive Support and Improvement
A Needs Assessment and Resource Review is required. 8VAC20-132-280 C
A Division Support Plan is required if the school division has schools identified for Comprehensive Support and Improvement. 8VAC20-132-280 D
A Multi-year School Support Plan must be developed by the Division for the school. 8VAC20-132-280 C
The plan must be created in partnership with stakeholders and informed by indicators in the state accountability system. ESEA sections 1111(d)(1)(B) and 8538
The plan must include at least four evidence-based interventions. 8VAC20-132-280 C and ESEA section 8101(21)
The plan must be reviewed by the local school board, approved by the Division, and submitted to the Virginia Department of Education for approval. 8VAC20-132-280 C
The plan must be published on both the school division and individual school websites. 8VAC20-132-300 B
