Virginia Cohort Reports
Cohort reports include four-year and five-year graduation and dropout rates for the commonwealth, school divisions and schools that express the percentage of students who earn diplomas or drop out within four years and five years of entering high school for the first time.Percentages are based on longitudinal student-level data and account for student mobility and retention and promotion patterns. The four-year graduation rate presented in these reports is known as the Virginia Ontime Graduation Rate and is recognized by the Board of Education as the commonwealth's official graduation rate.

High School Graduates Postsecondary Enrollment Report
Reports document numbers and percentages of high school graduates enrolled in postsecondary institutions nationwide. These reports provide the best available estimates and are based on data VDOE obtained from the National Student Clearinghouse.
High School Graduates Postsecondary Achievement Report
Reports document numbers and percentages of high school graduates who enrolled in a public Institution of Higher Education (IHE) in Virginia and earned one-year of college credit within two years of enrolling in a Virginia public IHE. These reports provide the best available estimates and are based on state data linked between the Virginia Department of Education and the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia.
