Dual language programs are instructional models designed to promote bilingualism, biliteracy, academic achievement, and cross-cultural understanding. These programs provide content instruction in English and a partner language over multiple years and are implemented in public, private, or charter schools across Virginia and the nation.

Download a sortable list (excel) of dual language and immersion programs, including program type, partner language, grade levels served, and school division. Note that for the current file version, all data are obtained from a voluntary reporting of program information.  

If you are a program director or school administrator and your program is not showing on the Excel file, your program information needs to be updated, or your program is no longer active, please email WorldLanguages@doe.virginia.gov for instructions on how to update the program listing for your school or division.
